Look Back - Sonia Rykiel Spring/Summer 2009 RTW

This collection is always in my mind. Whenever I think of Sonia Rykiel this is what I think of, so for this edition of 'Look Back' I will be looking at the Sonia Rykiel Spring/Summer 2009 RTW

Designer: Sonia Rykiel

My Top Four Looks From The Collection:

(Snejana Onopka & Natasha Poly)

(Lera Sheremata & Bette Franke)

This collection featured plenty of Rykiel's signatures like cardigans, and sweater dresses which were great, I also loved the pop-art daisy-print chiffon used for the seventies style dresses, but what really made this show great for me was the models. I liked the way they sashayed down the runway and the little procession they had at the end. It was so cute and fun and made the show memorable. Here is the full show. Enjoy!!!

Dsquared² Fall 2012 Campaign

Continuing with the runway show’s theme of a sixties prom, the fall 2012 campaign from Dsquared² is set in a high school classroom. The photographers were Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The female models were Daphne Groeneveld, Bette Franke, Frida Aasen and the male models were Simon Van Meer venne and Liuk Bass. The shoot was styled by Katie Grand and the Art direction was by Giovanni Bianco.

First of all, I love Dsquared². I think what they do is so cool and fun. The casual denim, knit sweaters and decorated eye-wear are so chic yet playful and I think that's the essence of Dsquared²'s. I love this campaign & the collection is really great. I need all the eye-wear in this collection.
