Look Back - Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2011

I said on a few occasions how much I love retro inspired things. So I thought that the Bottega Veneta Pre-fall 2011 collection would be great for this edition of ‘Look Back'.

Designer: Tomas Maier

My Top Four Looks From The Collection:
(Julia Saner & Linnea Regnander)
(Melodie Monrose & Linnea Regnander)

This is one of those simple and chic collections. What I really liked about this collection was that as classy and sophisticated as it was, there was still a playful twist. The hair and the make-up were perfect and I loved the gloves and the great bags. The styling was just what really made me love this collection. However, I did find myself being disappointed that there was not more pieces to the collection. Here is the full show. Enjoy!!!

The thing I like the most about Kasia is she is a very original beauty. I have not really seen anyone who looks like her. You may find models with similar features like her amazing jawline and cheekbones, but her look is so original. She truly is stunning and has the ability to give so many looks in her photos.

The photo shoot that I first noticed Kasia was the October 2009 issue of Harper's Bazaar. It was a really simple shoot, but it really stuck in my head and that’s how I knew she was a really good model. For like a week after a I saw those pictures I just could not get them out of my head, and I think that is something that’s really good about Kasia, she is able to engage you with even the simplest of shots.

Born on February 13, 1991 in the UK, Emma was discovered at the age of 14 when she attended an open casting call and was noticed for having a pink bow in her hair and no makeup. She has gone on to appear in Spanish, Russian and German Vogue, Glamour Italia, ELLE UK & Denmark. She has also graced the cover of L'Officiel. At 17 she became the face of Max Factor and she has appeared in advertising campaigns for brands such as Moschino Cheap & Chic, Bottega Veneta, Burberry and Emanuel Ungaro.

The thing I love the most about Emma is her flawless skin and bright blue eyes. She is just so striking and she really knows how to use her bone structure to her advantage. I can't even go on about how much I love this model, because I think its pretty obvious considering she is the model in the background picture of this blog.

I first really took notice of Emma when I saw her in Spanish Vogue. The main focus of the shoot was the jewelry and the shoot had a very refined and sophisticated feel to it. The pictures were so beautiful and you really notice how amazing her features are and how beautiful her neck is. I think models should always try to give the impression of a longer neck. Emma is another model that has the ability to make me want to buy everything in the ad. These are definitely my favourite pictures of her.
