Marcelina Sowa - Harper’s Bazaar Mexico July 2012, Grazia UK June 2012 & Elle Vietnam May 2012

Kevin Sinclair is an amazing photographer and when I came across this editorial titled 'En el paso de las hadas' for the July 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Mexico, styled by Andrew Holden and featuring model Marcelina Sowa, I knew I had to post it. This editorial is divine. I love the contrast between the soft feminine clothes and the tough jagged surrounds.

This photo shoot actually reminded me of another editorial photographed by Kevin Sinclair for the June 2012 issue of Grazia UK. This editorial titled 'Under the sun' is also beautiful but opposite to the Harper’s Bazaar shoot because the clothes are tough and edgy and the surrounds are so soft and beautiful. This editorial also features model Marcelina Sowa and was also styled by Andrew Holden. Both editorials were  shot in Vietnam and the make-up artist for both editorials was Nam Vo and the Hair for both editorials was done by Dennis Fei.

These editorials make me want to visit Vietnam. I just hope all the people who took part in this editorial got to enjoy their surroundings, it seems to me they were all really busy in Vietnam as all they also shot the May 2012 cover for ELLE Vietnam there.

Marcelina is a great model, it’s hard to believe that it's the same person in both editorials and on the ELLE cover.

Naty Chabanenko - How to Spend It Magazine

I think by now you have noticed how much I love retro themed editorials. This one titled 'Swell Belle' for How to Spend It Magazine, features model Naty Chabanenko and was photographed by Kevin Sinclair. Stylist Damian Foxe selected pieces from Dolce & Gabbana, Tsumori Chisato, Rochas, Prada, Marios Schwab, Chanel and Versace.

Can I just start by saying how mind-blowingly amazing the styling on this shoot is, I know I know my English is atrocious right now but I love this. It's rare that I get this excited about anything, wait that's a lie I'm easily exited when it comes to fashion but it's only because the designers keep creating amazing pieces and the stylist keep finding great ways to put them together and the photographers and models just finish it off perfectly. Its days like this that confirm to me I will not be happy unless working in fashion because I am not this passionate about anything else and nothing else makes me this happy. This first look is something else ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥.

Nastya Kusakina - How To Spend It Magazine June 2012

One of the trends that we have been seeing a lot on the runway is the peplum. This editorial titled 'Hit Below the Belt' for the June issue of How To Spend It Magazine features model Nastya Kusakina wearing this season biggest spring trend. The shoot was styled by Damian Fox and the Photographer was Kevin Sinclair. The editorial features designs from Alexander McQueen, Dior, Gucci, Victor and Rolf, Celine, Giles, Versace and Roberto Cavalli.

I really like this editorial, a lot of people have been struggling with ways to wear this trend and this editorial is a big help. My favourite look is the stretch-flannel jacket with the braided leather belt by Gucci, it's a very well tailored piece and makes wearing peplum a whole lot easier.
