Lanvin - Resort 2013
I thought that this collection was very flattering with the sharp tailoring and loose fitting silhouettes. This collection had everything, peplums, ruffles, pleating, visors, and great accessories. I really liked the colours Alber used and I thought the styling was great. The only thing I did not like in this collection were the metallic gold and silver toned pieces. These pieces just seemed a little bit out of place in this collection, everything else was so chic and sophisticated and I just felt they did not go well with the other pieces. Below are some of my favourite looks and right at the bottom are two of the metallic pieces, what do you think?

Nastya Kusakina - How To Spend It Magazine June 2012
One of the trends that we have been seeing a lot on the runway is the peplum. This editorial titled 'Hit Below the Belt' for the June issue of How To Spend It Magazine features model Nastya Kusakina wearing this season biggest spring trend. The shoot was styled by Damian Fox and the Photographer was Kevin Sinclair. The editorial features designs from Alexander McQueen, Dior, Gucci, Victor and Rolf, Celine, Giles, Versace and Roberto Cavalli.
I really like this editorial, a lot of people have been struggling with ways to wear this trend and this editorial is a big help. My favourite look is the stretch-flannel jacket with the braided leather belt by Gucci, it's a very well tailored piece and makes wearing peplum a whole lot easier.
