Armani Privé - Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2012

First let talk about the colour palette, which include multiple shades of blue including powder blue, slate, navy, indigo, and periwinkle, coupled with purple, violet, pink and grey. I thought the way he used the colours was great. There was a raw silk striped coat which starts out black at the top and goes through a progression of colours and a floor-length beaded skirt with silver, ice pink and rose stripes, topped with a strapless black top. Amazing! The little black berets by Philip Treacy and the beaded veils just perfected the looks.

One thing you can’t deny about Armani is his impeccable tailoring. It was a really nice collection, not the best Armani Privé collection I have ever seen, but still very beautiful. He defiantly deigns for a certain type of women. What do you think of this collection? Feel free to comment.
