Here is another model that has amazing cheekbones. But the things I like the most about Natasha is her ability to transform, whenever I see a picture of Natasha I am shocked by how she manages to look so different it sometimes takes me a minute to realize it’s her. Also her runway walk is something else. I love love love her walk it has to be one of my favourite. Every time I see her coming down the runway I can’t help to bop my head along to her walk (hope that makes sense). There is so much attitude and power in her walk I love watching her come down the runway.

The first  time I really took notice of Natasha was on the runway, her walk blew me away. But the editorial that I recently saw which inspired this post was the Numéro 'Couture by Night' editorial. This editorial was so beautiful and it featured male model Baptiste Giabiconi. I love the concept of this shoot and Natasha looked stunning. Also she brings something different to every shot, she is so effortlessly elegant.

Frida Gustavsso - Vogue Japan August 2012

This editorial for the August 2012 issue of Vogue Nippon entitled 'When Elegance Comes Easy' photographed by Victor Demarchelier, features model Frida Gustavsson looking chic and ladylike in an elegantly tailored wardrobe styled by Aurora Sansone with designs from Valentino, Max Mara, Givenchy, Salvatore Ferragamo and others. I really like the editorial the colour pallet is very nice and Frida looks amazing. I also love her classic curls which were styled by David Von Cannon.

Lindsey Wixson - Vogue Japan August 2012

This editorial is just stunning. I was drawn in by how colourful it is. This editorial entitled 'Working on her Colours’ is for the August 2012 issue of Vogue Nippon and features the extraordinarily beautiful Lindsey Wixson. The shoot was styled by Giovanna Battaglia and the photographer was Sharif Hamza. I really get a ‘Lindsey in wonderland' type of vibe from this shoot, I feel like I'm looking at a doll in a dollhouse and Lindsey is the perfect model because she has this baby doll like face. The clothes are so luxurious and very 1950/60's mod.

Look Back - Fendi Spring/Summer 2007 RTW

I have been thinking about this collection a lot recently, so I decided it would be perfect for this edition of 'Look back'.

Designer: Karl Lagerfeld

My Top Four Looks From The Collection:

(Andreea Stancu & Valentina Zelyaeva)
(Freja Beha Erichsen & Andreea Stancu)

This collection was just so beautiful. Firstly, the colour palette of black, navy, white, silver, and shocking pink surprised me. The pink threw me off for a moment because I was just not expecting it. However, Mr Lagerfeld being the genius that he is, was able to ‘make it work’. A lot of designer that season were using couture details in their ready-to-wear collection but Mr Lagerfeld took it to another level he used materials that are not the easiest to work with, like black silicone and silver leather that was laser-cut to resemble metallic mesh and then he threw in some knits for good measure. I felt like I was going back in time and visiting the future at the same time. It was the futuristic Sixties. (That makes no sense but I hope you understand what I mean). I loved all the items in this show I really wanted every piece but since I cannot afford them right now it nice to keep looking at the collection repeatedly. Here is the show. Enjoy!!!

Born on October 6, 1984 in Poland, Magdalena was discovered when her mother sent her pictures to a Warsaw agency's modelling contest. She won, & was scouted by Darek Kumosa of Model Plus Agency. She has gone on to appear on the covers of Japanese, Italian, German, Korean, Portuguese & Russian Vogue & French Numéro as well as appearing in editorials for American, British, Spanish, Mexico/ Latin America & French Vogue, V, Pop, Harper's Bazaar, i-D & Allure. She has also been in ads for Givenchy, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Prada & Gianfranco Ferré.

I think it’s pretty obvious what I like most about Magdalena considering my love of cheekbones, I just love her bone structure, she has such an incredible face. In my mind, the symmetry of her face is perfect, and because she is such a good model she has learnt how to position her face so that in every picture you see of her no matter which way she is facing, her bone structure stands out. People always use the saying ‘legs for days’ to describe someone with long legs, well Magdalena has ‘cheekbones for weeks’.

Magdalena is another model I have been seeing for a while, but it was not until I saw the November 2011 issue of Vogue that I noticed what a great model she was. The pictures were so simple and in black and white but she really stood out. Under all the hair and great styling, her face structure still stole the show.
